
Once you have obtained your diploma, you may be required by a professional association to complete a professional training period recognized by the Québec government.
If you meet the following eligibility criteria, you may be eligible to postpone the student debt you contracted under the Loans and Bursaries Program or the Loans for Part-Time Studies Program.
To be eligible under this measure, your maximum gross monthly income must not exceed the amount specified for the situation that applies to you.

For each additional child, add another $240 to the maximum income.
If your salary is paid on a weekly basis, multiply it by 4.33 to obtain your gross monthly income.
If your salary is paid every two weeks, multiply it by 2.16.
Your training period must be recognized by the Québec government and required by a professional association. It must begin after your program of study terminates and be completed in accordance with the rules applied by the professional association.
Even if your professional training period is staggered over a number of periods, it is considered to be completed in a continuous manner from the beginning of the first period.

42 ko) form, duly completed by a person authorized by your professional association or your employer.
For each 12-month study period, you must submit a new application in order to renew your eligibility under this measure.
