Do you face financial difficulties that could be alleviated by working?
You could be eligible for the Work/Study Program, an initiative that helps find employment within the educational institution for students who face financial difficulties due to exceptional circumstances. Since the Program is intended to encourage participants to pursue post-secondary studies, the number of work hours is limited to avoid adversely affecting school performance.
The Work/Study Program is co-funded in equal parts by the Ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport and the participating educational institution. Program funding is renewed on a yearly basis.
The Program is administered by the educational institution, which selects the jobs to be offered and sets pay scales. Each institution also determines the period during which it accepts applications.
