Amount of Loan
The amount of the loan that could be awarded to you for a given award year is the result of the following formula:
Amount determined according to the type of program and level of education

(including the months for which expenses are recognized, in the case of the withdrawal from a course or from studies)

The loans awarded for each level of education and type of program (unsubsidized programs are programs that are not subsidized by the Ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport) under the Loans and Bursaries Program are indicated below.

If applicable, the loan may also include expenses for the purchase of computer equipment and additional childcare expenses.
If you are pursuing college or university studies outside Québec, an amount is added to the monthly loan amount to cover the compulsory fees charged by the educational institution (maximum $6 000/study period).
