Studies Outside Québec
If you are studying outside Québec, you may be eligible for financial assistance under the Loans and Bursaries Program. Follow the procedures below.
- Make sure you have a permanent code.
- Be sure the educational institution and the program of study are recognized.
- Fill out the Application for Financial Assistance and the Studying Outside Québec—Confirmation of Admission for 2012-2013 form.
- Read your Financial Assistance Statement.
- If applicable, open an account with a participating financial institution located in Québec.
- Sign a Power of Attorney, if applicable.
- Pick up your Guarantee Certificate, if applicable.
- Sign a consent form, if applicable.
- Fill out the form Studying Outside Québec – Confirmation of Attendance.
- Fill out the Confirmation of Financial Resources form in September and January.
- Fill out the Declaration of Change form, if applicable.
