You may postpone the repayment of your student loan if you temporarily interrupt your full-time or part-time studies due to one of the following reasons:
To be eligible to postpone repayment, you must have studied for at least one month during the six-month period preceding the event justifying the request. If you do not begin studying again within one month of the interruption of your studies, Aide financière aux études will consider you to have withdrawn from your studies at the end of that period.
To take advantage of this measure, send us an Application to Postpone the Repayment of a Student Loan Debt During a Temporary Interruption of Studies (
29 ko) form, duly completed.
