Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP)
Educational assistance payments (EAP) are amounts paid from an RESP or a Canadian education savings program. They are paid to the beneficiary to help cover the costs of his or her education.
If you receive EAPs over the course of the year, you are not required to declare them in your application for financial assistance or in the Confirmation of Financial Resources form. We do not take this income into account.
