Upload a document on a voluntary basis

It’s easy to provide a document that is not required but that you believe will be useful to Aide financière aux études in processing your file, on your own initiative.

Access our Web site’s on-line services

Register or log in.

A new tab has been added to your file

Select the Submit a document tab.

 

Go to the Upload a Document on a Voluntary Basis screen

Click on the Upload a Document on a Voluntary Basis button in the upper right corner of the screen.

Once you are in the Upload a Document on a Voluntary Basis screen, you first need to enter a document category. Then, if necessary, enter the award year and attach your files.

Go to the Search for Document Category screen

Click on the  magnifying glass icon for the category you wish to locate.

Enter the several letters of the category then press Search.

Check the search results and click on a category of your choice to automatically add it to the list of categories in the Upload a Document on a Voluntary Basis screen.

Some document categories cannot be selected for on-line upload and are instead displayed in grey in the results of your search. If you wish to provide information about these categories, use one of the on-line forms that are available in your program’s tab.

Go back to the Upload a Document on a Voluntary Basis screen

You need to attach at least one file in each of the document categories you added or delete the categories for which you no longer wish to attach files.

Now click on the  paper clip icon to attach a file in a given category.

Go to the Attach Files screen

Now select the file you want to attach from your computer or work station then click on Add to the List. The file now appears in the list of files to attach.

Once all the desired files have been added to the list, you can attach them to the category of your choice by clicking on the Attach button in the lower right corner of the window.

As each file is accepted, you will see the following message: “Your file has been added to the list.”

Go back to the Upload a Document on a Voluntary Basis screen

When all desired files in the document category have been attached, click on Upload.

If the upload is successful, you will see the following message: “Your documents have been uploaded.”

All your files in a given document category must be sent at the same time. As soon as Aide financière aux études receives even one document, it presumes it has everything it needs to process your file in that category.
